About Dr Romburgh
Dr Bailee Romburgh is a dedicated psychiatrist based in Cape Town, South Africa, driven by a profound interest in human behaviour and science. From an early age, she was fascinated by the complexities of the mind and the interplay of emotions, thoughts, and actions. This curiosity, coupled with a deep-seated compassion for helping those most vulnerable, led her to pursue a career in psychiatry.
Dr Romburgh completed her medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Cape Town, where she nurtured her passion for mental health. She further specialized in Psychiatry, earning her MMed (Psychiatry) and Fellowship of the College of Psychiatrists (FCPsych) from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. Since early 2022, she has been practicing as a specialist, bringing her expertise and empathy to her patients.
In her practice, Dr Romburgh integrates therapy with psychotropic medications, believing in a holistic approach to mental health. She combines the best aspects of both to tailor individualised treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Her commitment to patient-centred care aims to ensure that her patients feel understood, supported, and empowered on their journey to mental wellness.
